I, Canvas

A Body Art Portrait Project

Got ink?

Piercings?

Scarification?

Adornment that tells a story?

Is your body a canvas?

I want to photograph you.

What Is “I, Canvas”?

“I, Canvas” is a portrait project dedicated to the humans who choose to wear their stories on their skin.

Tattoos.

Piercings.

Intentional modifications.

Art placed with purpose.

This project explores the relationship between your art and your body — the placement, the flow, the contrast, the meaning.

Each session focuses primarily on the tattoo or piercing itself, captured with intention, light, and artistry. When possible, surrounding areas of the body — tattooed or not — will be included in softer focus to create context, balance, and visual storytelling.

This is not about shock value.

It is about reverence.

Your body as canvas.

Your story as art.

Who Can Participate?

Who Can Participate?

Everyone.

Every age (18+).

Every gender.

Every identity.

Every body type.

You do not need to be heavily tattooed.

You do not need to be fully pierced.

One meaningful tattoo.

One significant piercing.

A collection across your body.

All are welcome.

This project celebrates individuality — not quantity.

The Experience

Each “I, Canvas” session is intentional and collaborative.

Depending on the placement of your tattoo or piercing, images may include:

Artistic partial nudity

Implied nudity

Cropped or shadowed compositions

The focus is always the art and how it lives on you.

You will be guided throughout the session to ensure you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered.

Investment

Session Fee: $99

This includes:

• A dedicated portrait session

• Professional editing

• Final images corresponding to the number of tattoos or piercings photographed

If we photograph three distinct areas, you

receive three finished images.

Five areas? Five finished images.

Additional images may be available for purchase.

The Book Project

If participation allows, “I, Canvas” will culminate in a beautifully designed printed book featuring the strongest image from each participant.

Participants will have the opportunity to purchase this book at a discounted rate.

A collective portrait of art, identity, and humanity.

Model Release & Anonymity

Because this is an artistic project, all participants must sign a full model release.

Due to the nature of some tattoo and piercing placements, anonymity cannot be guaranteed. However:

You may request your face be obscured

You may request shadowed lighting

You may request cropping

Every effort will be made to respect your comfort level while preserving artistic integrity.

Why Participate?

Because your body tells a story.

Because art deserves to be documented.

Because the way your ink curves with your form is part of the design.

Because what you chose to mark on your skin matters.

“I, Canvas” is about honoring that choice.
