A Boudoir Nouveau session is a collaborative portrait experience shaped around your comfort, privacy, personality, and creative vision.
Pricing should be understandable before you reserve a date.
You will know what your collection includes, what optional products and services cost, and what additional creative work may require before you commit. No hidden charges, no surprises.
Begin with the Experience
Boudoir photography is more than the time spent taking photographs.
The experience includes conversation, planning, wardrobe decisions, guided posing, lighting changes, breaks, image review, and the small adjustments that allow a session to develop naturally.
Some clients arrive ready to begin immediately. Others need time to settle into the studio, talk through their ideas, adjust their hair or makeup, or become comfortable before moving into more intimate photographs.
We do not want you watching the clock or feeling that every wardrobe change has used up part of your session. Your collection determines the creative scope of the experience—not a countdown timer.
Give Yourself Time to Be Present
Although we do not sell sessions by a rigid number of photography hours, you should reserve a generous portion of the day for your experience.
Your time at the studio may include:
Settling in and talking before we begin
Reviewing wardrobe and styling options
Hair or makeup touch-ups
Changing clothing
Adjusting sets, backgrounds, props, or lighting
Breaks
Reviewing photographs together
Moving gradually from simpler portraits into more intimate ideas
A focused session with fewer looks will generally require less time than a Complete Collection with several concepts. However, every person and every session develops differently.
We would rather give the experience room to breathe than rush you through it. During your consultation, we will discuss your selected collection, concepts, and schedule so you know how much of the day to keep available.
Reserve Your Boudoir Nouveau Session
$249 Nonrefundable Retainer
The retainer reserves your session date and begins the planning process. It is applied toward the total price of your selected collection. It is not an additional charge added on top of the collection price.
Your retainer includes:
Creative planning
Wardrobe and styling guidance
Preparation of the studio and selected concepts
Use of available studio wardrobe pieces, fabrics, accessories, and props
Guided posing and expression
Review of selected photographs during the session
A private and respectful studio experience
The remaining collection balance may be paid in advance or through an approved payment plan.

A focused collection for someone who wants a smaller group of carefully selected photographs.

- 10 professionally edited digital images.

Complete Collection

The complete finished story of your session.
Includes:
- Private consultation and detailed concept development
- Up to four wardrobe looks or concepts
- Expanded lighting, set, background, wardrobe, and prop variety
- Guided posing and expression
- Use of available studio wardrobe items, fabrics, accessories, and props
- Review of selected photographs during the session
- All final edited images
- A guaranteed minimum of 35 finished photographs
- Private online gallery
- Personal print rights
- $200 credit toward an album or printed artwork

“All final edited images” means the strongest completed photographs from the session. It does not include test frames, lighting adjustments, blinks, repeated poses, unfinished files, or images that do not meet our professional standards.
Know What You Are Investing Before the Session
We recommend selecting your collection before the session rather than beginning with a low session fee and revealing the true cost of the photographs afterward.
Choosing in advance allows us to:
Plan the appropriate number of looks and concepts
Develop a session that matches the collection you want
Create a manageable payment schedule
Avoid surprise purchasing pressure after the photographs are taken
Give you a realistic understanding of the total investment
You may upgrade your collection if you decide you want more images.
You will never be pressured to upgrade simply because we created photographs you love.
Adding More Photographs
When you select the Essential or Signature Collection, additional photographs may be purchased from your curated gallery.
Current options:
- One additional image: $35
- Five additional images: $150
- Upgrade to the next collection: pay the difference between collection prices
- Upgrade to the Complete Collection: pay the difference to the Complete Collection total
Upgrading the collection is generally the better value when you want a substantial number of additional images.
Unedited and unfinished files are not available for purchase.
What You Receive
Professionally Finished Digital Images
Your included digital photographs are individually selected and professionally edited.
Standard editing may include:
Exposure and color correction
Contrast and tonal finishing
Cropping
Temporary skin distractions
Minor clothing or background cleanup
Overall image refinement
Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery.
The files include personal-use and personal-printing rights. Commercial use, publication, advertising, resale, or third-party licensing requires separate written permission. Your photographs remain private unless you explicitly authorize us to share selected images.
Albums and Printed Artwork
Boudoir photographs often become more meaningful when they exist as something physical.
A fine art album allows the photographs to unfold as a private visual story. Prints, metal artwork, and other finished pieces create a different experience from scrolling through images on a phone.

Final album pricing depends on size, cover material, page count, image count, upgrades, and presentation options.
The Signature Collection includes a $100 artwork credit.
The Complete Collection includes a $200 artwork credit.
Artwork credits have no cash value and must be applied to an eligible product order connected to the session.
Hair and Makeup Options
Professional hair and makeup are not automatically included in the collection price.
Some clients prefer a professional styling experience. Others feel most comfortable doing their own hair and makeup or arriving with a simple, natural look.
Professional services may be available by referral or as an optional coordinated add-on. You will very likely save money if you go to your normal stylist!
The final price depends on:

The requested services
The complexity of the look
Whether additional touch-up time is needed
Whether more than one person requires styling
Current options and pricing will be discussed during your consultation.
You are welcome to bring your own products for touch-ups during the session.
Advanced Retouching
Standard professional editing is included with every finished image.
Requests beyond the included editing may require an additional fee.
Advanced retouching is $20 per image when applicable and may include:
Extensive clothing cleanup
Complex object removal
Detailed background corrections
Significant localized retouching
Requests requiring substantially more time than standard finishing
Advanced retouching is discussed before the work is completed.
We do not reshape bodies or begin from the assumption that permanent features should be removed.
Scars, stretch marks, surgical marks, birthmarks, and other natural details are preserved unless a specific request is discussed and mutually agreed upon.
Fantasy Unscripted and Custom Creative Work
Some Boudoir Nouveau sessions extend beyond standard portrait planning.
Custom creative work may include:
- Constructed sets
- Purchased materials
- Specialty props
- Extensive pre-production
- Complex compositing
- Floating or surreal elements
- Background reconstruction
- Fantasy environments
- Theatrical styling
- Significant post-production work
Creative concept fees begin at $150.
The final fee depends on the complexity of the concept, materials required, preparation time, photography requirements, and post-production work.
Any additional fee will be discussed and approved before materials are purchased or advanced work begins.
Couples Boudoir
Couples sessions require additional posing, communication, planning, and creative coordination.
A couples-session add-on begins at $200.
Depending on the concept and desired number of images, couples sessions may be best suited to the Signature or Complete Collection.
Additional professional hair and makeup services, wardrobe needs, set materials, or advanced creative work are priced separately.
Consent, comfort, privacy, and boundaries are discussed with both participants.
Payment Over Time
Payment plans are available because many clients prefer to prepare gradually for their session.
After the $249 retainer is paid, the remaining collection balance may be divided into several scheduled payments, usually monthly.

- Image collections
- Albums
- Printed artwork
- Complete digital galleries
- Custom creative concepts
- Optional professional styling
All agreed payments must be completed before final digital images or products are delivered.
Album design and product ordering begin after the applicable balance has been paid.
Pre-session payment plans are encouraged when you are planning for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or another fixed date.
Payment planning is intended to make the experience easier to prepare for—not to encourage you to spend beyond your comfort.

Boudoir Nouveau collections range from $649 to $1,249, before optional albums, products, styling, or advanced creative work.
Most clients choose the $899 Signature Collection because it provides enough images and visual variety to preserve the experience as a complete story.

Reserving Your Date
Your session date is reserved after:
Your private consultation is complete
Your photography agreement is signed
Your $249 nonrefundable retainer is paid
Your collection and payment arrangements are selected
The retainer compensates the studio for reserving the date, beginning the planning process, and declining other work for that time.
If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as possible. Rescheduling terms are governed by the signed agreement and studio availability.
Final digital images and products are not delivered until the applicable balance has been paid in full.
When the photographs are intended as a gift, allow adequate time for planning, photography, image selection, editing, album design, approval, production, and delivery.
Boudoir Pricing Questions
Is the $249 retainer added to the collection price?
No.
The retainer is applied toward your selected collection total.
For example, the Essential Collection is $649 total. After paying the $249 retainer, the remaining balance is $400.
Are photographs included?
Yes.
Each collection includes a specified number of professionally edited digital images.
The Complete Collection includes all final edited photographs, with a guaranteed minimum of 35.
Do I need to choose a collection before the session?
We recommend choosing before the session so you understand the total investment and we can plan the appropriate creative scope.
Your collection may be upgraded later by paying the difference.
Is there a separate minimum image purchase?
No.
The collection itself represents the minimum purchase.
Do you limit the session to a strict number of hours?
No.
Collections are structured around images, wardrobe looks, and creative scope rather than a rigid photography timer.
You should reserve a generous portion of the day because the experience may include conversation, wardrobe changes, touch-ups, breaks, set changes, and image review.
Does that mean the session can continue indefinitely?
No.
The session is planned around the selected collection and agreed concepts.
We allow reasonable flexibility so you do not feel rushed, but major additions, extra concepts, or substantial changes beyond the original plan may require a separate arrangement.
Can I purchase only digital photographs?
Yes.
All three collections include digital images. Albums and printed artwork are optional.
Can I purchase an album without adding more digital images?
Yes.
Albums may be added to any collection. The album can be designed using images included in that collection.
Can I add photographs after seeing the gallery?
Yes.
You may purchase individual images, a five-image bundle, or upgrade to another collection. We will have you back in the studio to go through your edited images, make any final adjustments and let you know when the images will be ready in your private gallery.
Are payment plans available?
Yes.
After the retainer, the remaining balance may generally be divided into (normally) monthly scheduled payments.
All payments must be completed before delivery.
Is hair and makeup included?
No.
Professional hair and makeup may be available as an optional service or by referral.
Is professional editing included?
Yes.
Standard professional editing is included with all finished images.
Advanced retouching, compositing, or extensive creative work may involve an additional fee.
Do you charge more if I keep my images private?
No.
Privacy is the default and does not increase the price.
Do you deliver unedited photographs?
No.
Test frames, duplicate poses, blinks, lighting adjustments, and unfinished files are not delivered.
Are retainers refundable?
No.
The retainer is nonrefundable because it reserves your date and begins the planning process.
Can I reschedule?
Rescheduling may be permitted under the terms of the signed agreement and studio availability.

How far in advance should I book?
Book early when:
